In this project we are going to build the the 'Hello World' blinking light project again, but this time with an LED on a breadboard.
Now that you've wired up a few projects, try to build this one just by looking at the diagram above.
Make sure the long lead is nearest the resistor. You can try swapping out another LED, too.
Make sure you are using the 470Ω resistor. Too strong of a resistor will prevent enough electricity to power the LED!
Check for continuity across each connection. Do your wires and pins match the holes on the Fritzing Diagram?
Make sure your Arduino is plugged into your computer with the USB cable.
Check that you have clicked the verify and upload buttons in the IDE software to properly upload (flash) the code to the Arduino. Also make sure you have selected the correct port for your Arduino.
Click the Download the Sketch button to work on this current project’s sketch in the Arduino IDE program.
