Alpha_Bit and Hexadecimal Code Cards

ALPHA_BIT CARDS

These cards are used to provide randomization for special prompts, like in Alliteration Loops and Excel Spreadsheet challenges, and are not stored in a user’s RAM (hand). If no one can complete the challenge with a given Alpha_Bit, another one may be drawn. Once the challenge is over, the Alpha_Bit goes to the bottom of its recursive deck on the Cloud Storage placemat.

HEXADECIMAL CODE CARDS

A hexadecimal (hex) color code starts with a pound sign (#) and is followed by a combination of six letters and/or numbers. It’s a way for users to specify a given color for the computer to locate and visually output, as in designing a website. Players will collect Hex Code Cards and create strings of three (3) colors to exchange for one (1) crypto token. These cards have their own draw and discard piles (the Web Design and Recycling Bin placemats, respectively) and can be stolen, swapped, and used in challenges.
