⬣ Mission 4: Complex Polygons!

Starting Mission 4!

Now that you know about the fly to block, let's switch gears a bit and add another tool to our toolbox.

At first, it might not seem that hard to fly in a polygonal shape, since we have already done it twice. But what about polygons with more sides?

Well, if we focus on equilateral, equiangular polygons, which are polygons with sides that are all the same length and angles that are all the same, we can easily figure out what angle we need to turn to by doing some simple math. We know that the sum of the angles on the outside of any polygon has to be 360°. We also know that this means that each angle has to be the same and that each polygon has a certain number of angles. So, to figure out what angle we need to turn at, we can just divide 360 by the number of angles in the polygon!

Take the knowledge we have just discussed and create a flight path that makes the shape of a polygon with between 5 and 10 sides! And, remember, loops are your friend!

If you are looking for a challenge, you can try to code a mission that will do all the math for you!
